Why do my students have a flight time of 1 second in the Gliders 2.0 application?

The minimum time recorded for a Gliders 2.0 simulation is one second.  Unlike Dragster 2.0, for example, it's difficult to change just one component and see better results. In Dragster you can simply reduce the weight and see an immediate improvement in race time. In Gliders, you can have just one component off and it will not fly. An example would be if the center of mass is not under the wing. Even if everything else is perfect, the glider will simply not fly. The Glider content offers "tips" along the way that will help students realize what to do to increase flight times to 7+ seconds.
